Logical Energy Ltd trading as Resin Rock UK (“Resin Rock UK”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, contractors, installers, visitors, and stakeholders. We recognise our legal and moral responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and all relevant UK health and safety legislation.

1. Our Commitment

We aim to:

Prevent accidents, injuries, and work-related ill health.
Provide and maintain safe equipment and working conditions.
Ensure safe storage, handling, and use of resin and aggregates in compliance with COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).
Provide information, instruction, training, and supervision to staff and contractors.
Promote a positive health and safety culture throughout the business.

2. Responsibilities

Management: responsible for implementing and reviewing health and safety procedures.
Employees and Contractors: must take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others, and follow site safety rules.
Installers and Subcontractors: must comply with Resin Rock UK’s safety standards and site-specific risk assessments.

3. Safe Working Practices

All operatives must use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gloves, masks/respirators, and eye protection when handling resin or aggregates.
Mixing and application of resin must be carried out in well-ventilated areas.
Tools and machinery must be maintained in safe working order.
Spillages must be cleaned immediately using appropriate absorbent materials.
Fire safety procedures must be observed at all times.

4. Risk Assessment & COSHH

Risk assessments are carried out for all relevant work activities.
COSHH assessments are in place for all chemical products supplied or used by Resin Rock UK.
Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are available for all resin products and aggregates.

5. Training & Communication

All staff receive induction training on health and safety.
Additional training is provided where required (e.g., handling chemicals, manual handling, equipment use).
Contractors and installers are briefed on site-specific risks before starting work.

6. Monitoring & Review

We investigate all incidents and near misses to prevent recurrence.
Health and safety performance is monitored regularly.
This Policy is reviewed annually and updated where necessary.

7. Mental Health & Wellbeing

Resin Rock UK recognises the importance of mental health and wellbeing and encourages open communication and support for all employees.
