Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy sets out the terms of the Lifetime Warranty offered by Logical Energy Ltd trading as Resin Rock UK (“Resin Rock UK”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

Our warranty reflects our confidence in the performance of our resins and aggregates when installed and maintained correctly.

1. Scope of Warranty

This Warranty applies only to resin-bound surfaces installed using Resin Rock UK approved resins and aggregates.

“Lifetime Warranty” refers to the expected service life of the surface under normal residential or commercial conditions. It does not mean the lifetime of the purchaser.

The Warranty covers the following material properties:

  • Structural integrity of the resin-bound system
  • UV stability of UV-stable resin systems
  • Bond strength and durability of approved aggregates when used as directed

2. Conditions of Warranty

This Warranty is valid only if all the following conditions are met:

  • Installation was carried out by a trained and competent “Resin Rock Approved” installer using Resin Rock UK approved materials.
  • Correct mixing ratios, curing times, and substrate preparation were followed.
  • Surfaces are maintained in accordance with the Resin Rock UK Maintenance Schedule.
  • The surface has not been altered, repaired, sealed, or treated with non-approved products.
  • Materials have been stored, handled, and installed in accordance with Resin Rock UK guidelines.

3. Exclusions

This Warranty does not cover:

  • Incorrect or substandard installation methods.
  • Use of non-approved resins, aggregates, or additives.
  • Natural ground movement, subsidence, or frost heave.
  • Damage caused by tree roots, heavy plant, or sharp impacts.
  • Discolouration or changes in appearance caused by:
    • Non-UV-stable resins or unapproved sealants
    • Natural variation in aggregates, including mineral content, iron spotting, or chemical reaction within the stone
    • Environmental exposure (UV, heat, freeze/thaw, pollution, airborne contaminants)
    • Contact with harsh chemicals, solvents, or unapproved cleaning agents
    • Moisture ingress or waterborne staining
  • Cosmetic issues such as staining, shading differences, or surface weathering.
  • Normal wear and tear consistent with use.

4. Remedies

Where a valid claim is accepted, Resin Rock UK may, at its discretion:

  • Supply replacement resin and/or aggregate materials, or
  • Contribute materials toward a reinstallation, or
  • Provide technical support and guidance for rectification.

This Warranty does not cover:

  • Installer or contractor labour costs (unless agreed in writing with approved sub-contractors).
  • Consequential, indirect, or financial losses arising from any claim.

5. Duration

The Warranty remains valid for the expected service life of the surface, provided all conditions are met.

6. Claims Procedure

To make a claim, you must:

  1. Contact us in writing at info@resinrockuk.com.
  2. Provide proof of purchase, installer details, and photographs of the affected area.
  3. Allow Resin Rock UK to arrange a site inspection if required.

Claims must be submitted within 14 days of the issue becoming apparent.

7. Consumers vs. Business Customers

  • Consumers: This Warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
  • Business Customers: Our liability is strictly limited to the replacement value of the materials supplied.

8. Governing Law

This Warranty is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
